Dear Priest Lake Elementary Families, Students, and Community Members,

I am so excited that I have been given the blessing of being the new head principal for Priest Lake Elementary! I am thrilled to begin to work with the students and teachers at the school to not only better prepare them for their life in secondary school, but also to watch them grow into the amazing people that I know they will become.

I now get to be the head principal at a school that I dreamed about attending when I was a young student! My grandparents had a very rustic cabin on Priest Lake near Granite Bay when I was a child (No running water type of rustic)! I spent most of my free time while I was growing up at the cabin and in the mountains of the area, passing by the school hundreds of times.

I have been teaching with the West Bonner County School District since 2019, teaching US History at Priest River Lamanna High School. I just completed my Masters in Educational Leadership through Eastern Washington University this past year and am very much looking forward to being an administrator and getting to know you all better!

As we begin this school year together, I want you to know that my door is always open. Whether you have a question, concern, or idea, I welcome the opportunity to connect. I plan to be visible and present whether greeting students at the bus, attending school events, or stopping by classrooms to see the students learning in action!
